Additional information:

In the photo, titled “Liberation,” Ryczek uses the ambiguous symbolism of the dove, representing peace, freedom, truth, but also the escaping human soul , rebirth or simplicity. Despite the universal nature of the depiction and the simplified composition based on showing the figure of a pigeon soaring over a fence, the photographer does not leave it up to the viewer to read the image in any way. The title “Liberation” [deliverance, liberation] directs us towards interpreting this photo as a kind of manifesto of freedom.
