Black and white photography, digital print, Digigraphie® by Epson
In the photo, titled “Liberation,” Ryczek uses the ambiguous symbolism of the dove, representing peace, freedom, truth, but also the escaping human soul , rebirth or simplicity. Despite the universal nature of the depiction and the simplified composition based on showing the figure of a pigeon soaring over a fence, the photographer does not leave it up to the viewer to read the image in any way. The title “Liberation” [deliverance, liberation] directs us towards interpreting this photo as a kind of manifesto of freedom.
Edition available in formats: 32.5 x 50 cm, 41.5 x 64 cm, 49×75 cm, issued in 7, 8 and 15 copies respectively. Add 5 cm of white margin to each format. Digigraphie® digital print, Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta 315 gr/m2 paper. Digigraphie® Certificate of Authenticity.
