Ida Karkoszka's exhibition Let's watch

A sculpture by Ida Karkoszka has been installed on the roof of the Warsaw Marriott Hotel, depicting a trio of animals: a pig, a raven and a rat, looking at the capital’s skyline. The installation is a preview of Ida Karkoszka’s exhibition “Let’s watch,” organized by Limited Edition Gallery and Warsaw Marriott Hotel. This unobvious tandem has once again collaborated to promote Polish art. The exhibition at the Marriott Hotel is the first public presentation of the artist’s project titled “Let’s watch humans die…” from 2020. The project was a series of photographs depicting the same animals in the role of observers of disasters created by modern, consumerist society in various locations across Poland. For a year, the artist, together with Igor Haloszka, Michal Szymel, Andrzej Skowron, Maciej Domagalski and Pawel Sudol, documented the unpleasant consequences of human activity.

Alchemy. Exhibition of sculpture by Aleksandra Kujawska

Joining the forces of the gallery and Warsaw Marriott Hotel in promoting Polish art is an extremely important step for the popularization of artists’ work. The Warsaw Marriott Hotel, as part of its patronage and for the purposes of this project, made available the spaces of the newly renovated Presidential Suite. This made it possible to show the exhibition of Aleksandra Kujawska’s works in a slightly different context. The glass sculptures harmonize with the apartment’s interiors, furniture, everyday objects. The 260 square meters of world-class design, designed by the VAAV design studio commissioned by the owner of the Warsaw Marriott Hotel itself, can be seen and imagined in the homes of art collectors.
