Włodzimierz Pawlak’s “Diaries” series has been in the making since 1989, when the painter turned to white for good. He initiated a series of white paintings, as if he wanted to take a break from the reality around him, to distance himself. Over time, he began to add symbolic color elements specific to the events described by the painting, marked with dates. The diaries are a record of the artist’s reflections on life and art. It is one of the most important series created and continued by the Artist.
