, to promote carefully selected Polish artists. The collaboration between Warsaw Marriott Hotel and Limited Edition art gallery aims to popularize their work among collectors and art lovers. This will provide important support for artists’ careers. The joint effort is expected to reach a wide audience through real and virtual events.
Real and virtual events
Limited Edition Gallery, founded in 2012, is one of the leading art galleries in Poland. It promotes Polish artists currently working and builds their position in the market. The gallery’s activities are based on accompanying artists on their creative journey by documenting their work, organizing exhibitions supported by catalogs, interviews or publishing collector’s editions of artworks. It is also one of the first art galleries to engage in virtual exhibitions in addition to running an atelier in Warsaw’s Old Mokotow. Thus, all planned projects of the mall and Warsaw Marriott Hotel will have their virtual counterparts. They will provide access to viewers with almost no time or space restrictions.
Patronage of Warsaw Marriott Hotel
The five-star Warsaw Marriott Hotel, located in the downtown district, a short walk from the Palace of Culture and Science, has a long tradition of supporting artists. Back in the 1990s, the hotel hosted art exhibitions and events. “I believe that the combination of more than a decade of Limited Edition art gallery experience and the tradition of the Warsaw Marriott Hotel will translate into the success of this project. The Limited Edition gallery’s portfolio includes recognized Polish artists with significant achievements, such as Józef Wilkoń, Antoni Janusz Pastwa, Tomasz Górnicki, Ida Karkoszka, Beata Czapska, Marcin Ryczek, Darek Pala, Aleksandra Kujawska, Gabriela Cichowska, Piotr Panasiewicz and others. According to the gallery’s founder, Iwona Staroszczyk: “We choose artists from a certain key. They are recognized artists, and their works are in museum collections. Each of them has a recognizable and unique style for which they are famous. They are patient and work hard for their success. They create very good facilities although they sometimes face many challenges. They consistently create art because they are flesh-and-blood artists who will not do anything else in life. Cooperation between Warsaw Marriott Hotel and Limited Edition art gallery – first joint activities coming soon
Warsaw’s Marriott Hotel and Limited Edition gallery plan to hold exhibitions later this year. These will include exhibitions of sculpture by Aleksandra Kujawska, Ida Karkoszka and painting by Józef Wilkoń.
