The linocut “The Picador” was first published in 1959 in 50 signed copies by Galerie Louise Leiris. In 1962, a collaboration between Picasso and Galerie Louise Leiris reproduced the motif on a linoleum matrix at 42% of its original size. The reprint presented here is from the 1962 edition.
