“Dream IV” is a slender organic sculpture reminiscent of a bud, chalice or unfolding tissue. Its soft milky-blue tint gives the piece a sense of lightness, while the solid base evokes grounding and protection — echoing the mother-child bond central to the series. Each form in “Dreams” is shaped hot at the furnace using the artist’s distinctive hand-forming technique. Glass sculpture, surface-coloured soda-lime glass. Hot-formed, hand-shaped glass technique.
