Toys is a series of sculptures made by hand, using a metallurgical technique, blown into a wooden mold, tinted glass. Their purpose is to divert thoughts from everyday life. Contemplation of shape, color, the play of light passed through the glass form. Juxtaposed with light, they enter into a relationship with their surroundings. “During the pandemic, tired of months of securing basic survival issues in isolation like food, hygiene items, medicines, disinfectants, I wanted to create abstract, non-obvious borderline objects.
