“Dream III” is a dynamic glass form with a swirling blue core — like a captured breath, impulse or emotion suspended within crystal. The hands interacting with the sculpture emphasize the physical, intimate nature of Kujawska’s practice. The work speaks of closeness and the nurturing touch that forms the bond between mother and child. Created at a hot-glass furnace using the artist’s own hand-forming technique. Glass sculpture, surface-coloured soda-lime glass. Hot-formed, hand-shaped glass technique.
