Additional information:

“Petit Lac Blanc” by Beata Czapska is a sculpture built on a synthetic, flowing form in which the artist abandons literal representation in favor of pure, abstract volume. Soft curves, rounded edges and a balanced rhythm create a composition defined by calm, harmony and quiet presence.
The marble, with its natural luminosity and gentle matte glow, introduces a sense of lightness and cool clarity. The title “Petit Lac Blanc” — Little White Lake — acts as a poetic hint rather than a literal clue, evoking stillness and contemplation.
The sculpture remains open to interpretation. It invites the viewer to focus on form, light, rhythm and the subtle tension between mass and space.
