““Horse IX” is a sculpture from Antoni Janusz Pastwa’s renowned series “Shadows” (Cienie). The artist deconstructs the animal’s form, reducing it to a system of tensions, folds and rhythmic surfaces. Instead of depicting a horse realistically, Pastwa creates a dynamic, abstracted essence of movement.
The sculpture merges organic softness with geometric synthesis, resulting in a form full of expression and internal energy. The dark patina enhances the play of light and shadow, allowing the sculpture to shift visually as the viewer moves around it.”
The work was created in a limited edition of 8 pieces.
