“The author of the score for socrates ballet thus plays a painterly concerto, which he records in each individual composition individually and in all his canvases in general. After all, Pawlak’s work is at once harmonious and full of dissonances, sounding both piano and forte. The artist stands in front of his easel every season with eagerness and unquenchable curiosity to figure out how to write down the score of a painting masterpiece and extract sonority from the paint.” ~Marta Smolinskaya
