Art Note 6/III

Włodzimierz Pawlak’s “Art Note” series, created since 1996, is the artist’s painterly sketchbook, which provides a space for his experiments and research into the language of art. Small formats, which are records of theoretical considerations, develop into larger compositions, where the precision of technique and form combine into a synthesis of artistic reflection and scientific inquiry. These works are both a site of exploration and evidence of deep reflection on painting as a medium.
